Bath time!

Apparently Kool decided he wanted a bath, so he jumped in the shower with me one morning!

No, really. He did.

I think he was just really thirsty and the water pooling at the bottom of the tub was just too tempting. It had been pretty cold outside, so we had the heat up higher than usual. I think Kool's little throat was parched from the heater drying out the air. I felt bad he was so thirsty, but I didn't pass up the chance to give him a bath when he so willingly presented the opportunity!

What a weird little goofball.

What am I going to do with Kool?

I know I'm a little late posting the blog today. Normally, I write my blogs a couple of days in advance and schedule them to post on Monday. I do this so I don't have to worry about keeping my promise to myself about posting once a week - it's already done! But with the holidays, I've haven't had a lot of time to write ahead. So even though I'd love to write a more detailed post today, I'm going to keep it short and sweet so I get it done! Next week (or rather sometime this week!), I'll have to come up with a great Christmas story about the boys.

The funniest thing that happened today was when I was lying on my bed just playing on the laptop. Kool and Swift hang out with me on the bed, and I was reclined with my computer actually on my lap. Out of nowhere, Kool climbs up on top of my chest and just stands there. I tell him to move, and he settles down by lying on my chest. I couldn't help but laugh. What a strange dog! But I love him to death.

And this has nothing to do with the boys, but I'm so excited about it, I'm going to tell you anyway. I'm making a pot roast for the first time with my brand-new slow cooker! Yay, cooking!
