Swift
Swift is a chocolate and tan smooth dachshund, weighing in at about 13 lbs. He was named after Ken Swift, the hip-hop breakdancer. (Don't ask; I didn't name him!) His favorite things in life are his orange squeaky, his yellow duck, or any ball that squeaks. Swift lives up to the more literal interpretation of his name. He is a crazy guy, always on the go, and squeaky-obsessed. He was born in November 2005 but still has as much energy as a puppy!
Kool
Kool is a shaded-red long-haired dachshund. He is a bit smaller than Swift, around 11 lbs. He was named after a rapper from the 90's, DJ Kool. (Again, he inherited his name from his previous owner!) He also lives up to this name, because he is just a laid-back, cool-as-a-cucumber, nothing-bothers-me dachshund. Kool was born in May 2003, so he's starting to get a little gray under the chin. His favorite thing is probably kissing. I like to tease Kool that he is a drunk, because he can't hold his licker!
