i am so impressed that these little guys go hiking with you. husband and i love to hike and have been wanting to take desmond but we fear that he will get tired very quickly, because of his wonky legs. we need to start small, with a nature trail or something, and build up. it's a little difficult to find dog-friendly hikes in/around NY, though.
